I’m a great believer in “follow your bliss”. I know too that  whatever broader career choice you make, or job you take, realistically, money can be the skin these choices are wrapped in. It’s tough to separate the two.

Studies show that after a certain point, money does not make you happy. But lack of money can be a tremendous source of distress and unhappiness – especially if you feel underpaid, undervalued or trapped in the cycle of under- or unemployment and dependent on others.  Or in a job you hate, only there for the cash.
